City of St Marys reminding residents that all sidewalks must be shoveled and cleared of all snow and ice to allow for safe pedestrian passage.
The city ordinance states that all snow and ice must be removed from sidewalks abutting any public street or road within 12 hours after snowfall.
Starting Monday, March 3rd, 2025, the City's Code Enforcement officer will be actively issuing ticket violations to property owners that have not maintained their sidewalks.
