Bonnie L. Hooftallen, 43, of Emporium, passed away on Monday (September 23, 2024) at her home in Emporium, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 7, 1981 in Port Allegany, the daughter of David Haggard, Sr. and Ilene (Main) Kamets. On September 18, 2021, in Port Allegany, she married Jesse Hooftallen, who survives.
Bonnie was a secretary, employed by Andrew’s Auto Sales and Service for 18 years retiring in 2024.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of the Pink Pumpkin Project.
In addition to her mother, Ilene Kemets, and husband, Jesse, both of Emporium, she is survived by:
three sons: Jacob VanSickles of Turtlepoint, Todd VanSickles, Jr. of Port Allegany, and Brennan VanSickles of Emporium
Three daughters: MacKenzie Hooftallen and Darci Hooftallen, both of Emporium, and Bianca Gooch of Port Allegany.
Maternal grandmother, Dorothy Main of Port Allegany, her mother in law Susan Wells.
And her two fur babies “Chloe” and “Lily”
She was preceded in death by her father, David Haggard, Sr., and brother, David O. Haggard.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced. Burial will be in the Portage Valley Cemetery, Wrights.
