Art Heary & Sons Furniture Donation To St. Marys Area United Way


Jim, Tom, and Ann Marie Heary of Art Heary and Sons Furniture recently presented a generous donation to the St. Marys Area United Way in support of its 2025 grant initiatives. Located at 125 East Arch Street in the City of St. Marys, Art Heary and Sons has proudly served Elk County and the surrounding areas for generations, offering high-quality furniture from top manufacturers across the United States.


Representatives accepting the donation on behalf of the St. Marys Area United Way included Jim Ryan, President; Doug Gaffey, Corporate Campaign Chair; Jason Gabler; and Leah Whitman.


Art Heary and Son’s generous contribution will directly support the 2025 grant awards to various local organizations, including Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys, CAPSEA, City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation, Crystal Fire Department, Dickinson Center, Elkland Search & Rescue, Girl Scouts of Western PA, Guardian Angel Center, St. Marys Ambulance, St. Marys Area School District, St. Marys Library, West Creek Recreational Trail, and the Veterans Memorial-Eternal Flame located on the Diamond in downtown St. Marys.


Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025, the St. Marys Area United Way has been dedicated to serving the citizens of the City of St. Marys and surrounding counties since 1925. The organization relies on the support of generous contributions from businesses and individuals within the community. These donations help meet the financial needs of local non-profit agencies that provide essential health and human services to the region.
